The Observatory of Religious Freedom in Latin America (OLIRE) is a research, training and advocacy program that (a) monitors and documents the position of vulnerable religious minorities in Latin America whose rights are being infringed, (b) empowers religious minorities to increase their resilience against hostilities and (c) generates policy recommendations to improve the position of vulnerable religious minorities and brings these to the attention of political decision makers.

The Observatory serves its partners, academia, civil society and policy makers with research data, training materials and policy recommendations to promote religious freedom for vulnerable religious minorities in Latin America.

The Observatory of Religious Freedom in Latin America is a program of the Foundation Platform for Social Transformation, a registered charity in Voorburg, The Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce #50264249.
