Robbery at the home of Cuban pastor and activist Alain Toledano Valiente

Cuban pastor Alain Toledano Valiente reported through his Facebook account that someone had broken into his home on November 8. When his wife and daughter were alone at home, a man shouted at the house and tried to tear off the entrance gate. He also reported that this was not the first time incidents like these occur. In the past, he has been threatened and attacked in similar ways.

Alain Toledano Valiente is a prominent leader in the Apostolic Movement in Cuba, he also leads the Emanuel Church in Santiago de Cuba together with his wife. Due to his activism for religious freedom, he is often targeted by the Cuban authorities. He is subjected to repeated police summons and threatened with imprisonment on multiple occasions.
